I really don't know London very well, so I can't help you with venues... Any day is fine for me as I work from home. And if I remember right... Meetup = Expensive to start a group, while Upcoming would be cheaper. Let me know how things are tuning up.. . I haven't met really anyone in London yet, and that is one thing I sorely miss from living in Ottawa... knowing people.
